Barry B. Miller, 78, Selinsgrove

Barry B. Miller, 78, of Selinsgrove passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born September 18, 1946, in Danville, son of the late Percy and Edith (Boyer) Miller. He married on September 14, 1991, the former Patti A. Kline who survives. They recently celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary.

Barry was a member of the Selinsgrove High School graduating class of 1964. He then went on to attend Shippensburg University until he enlisted in the United States Air Force, after which he joined his father, uncles and brothers in running the family business, The Miller Insurance Agency until his retirement in 2023.

Barry was also a member of the Shade Mountain Golf Course (Early Group) for decades, and enjoyed his annual golfing trip to Myrtle Beach. He also was no stranger to the softball field or the bowling alley, and was a longtime season ticket holder to Penn State football, and attended Penn State Wrestling events often. Barry was a faithful fan of Selinsgrove Seals football and rarely missed a game.

In addition to his wife Patti, Barry is survived by one son, Todd (Wendy) Miller; two daughters, Pamela Cook and partner Chuck Pagana, and Amanda (Stuart) Bielskie; six grandchildren, Josh Miller, Morgan (Garrett) Benner, Spencer Cook, Kayleen Girton, Mason and Tripp Bielskie; three great-grandchildren, Lukas, Hadley, and Peighton; one step-granddaughter, Jasmine Underhill; one step-great-grandson, David; one brother, Ken (Dawn) Miller; three sisters-in-law, Ellen Miller, Ginger Stroh, and Michelle Mull (Terry Vires); one son-in-law, Doug Cook; many nieces and nephews; and two dogs Chloe and Ember.

Barry was preceded in death by one brother, Dale Miller; and one brother-in-law, Kim Stroh.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 28 from 1-2 pm at Zion’s Church of Kratzerville, 4106 Route 204 Selinsgrove, followed by the memorial service at 2 with Pastors Dan Conklin and Steve Hoke officiating.

Full military honors accorded by the Selinsgrove VFW Post 6631 and American Legion Post 25 will follow the memorial service.

A celebration of life "tailgate" will be continued at the Selinsgrove VFW Bingo Hall immediately following the service.  Please wear your finest PSU-wear.
