Christina Rice

Christina Rice, 50, of Selinsgrove, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026, at UPMC Williamsport Hospital.

Born on May 23, 1975, in Lewisburg, she was the daughter of the late James and Gloria (Carl) Witmer.

Christina was a follower of the United Pentecostal Church in Lewisburg.

Christina devoted 20 years of her life to serving as a bus driver for Rohrer Bus. She also served as the secretary at Selsyn Electric in Sunbury.

In her free time, Christina enjoyed working on puzzles, finding both challenge and comfort in them. Most of all, she cherished time spent with her grandchildren, who were the greatest joy of her life. Her love for them was deep and unwavering, and it was evident to all who knew her.

Christina is survived by her loving husband, Michael Rice; a son, Richard (Kaitlynn) Gordy; four daughters, Elizabeth (Stephen) Wise, Amber Batman (Sheri) Holton; Brenna Martin; and Grace Rice; two brothers, Keith (Jennifer) Zeigler and James (Kara) Witmer, Jr; two sisters, Clara Hornberger and Wendy Grenfell; four grandchildren, Kyleigh Wilson, Felicity Wise, Wrenlee Wise, and Lincoln Gordy; and several nieces and nephews.  

A visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, from 10-11 am at V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 North High Street, Selinsgrove, followed by the memorial service at 11 am with Pastor Jason Gann officiating.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Freeburg.
