Dwight David Saxton, 68, of Selinsgrove, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 3, 2025, at his residence.
Born on March 27, 1957, in Lewistown, Dwight was a son to Richard and Rayelene (Bressler) Saxton.
Dwight was a graduate of Selinsgrove Area High School.
He was employed many of years for the Shamokin Dam Borough. Dwight was also a longtime member of the Pennsylvania Trappers Association.
Dwight will be remembered for his warm personality, his love of history, and his lifelong passion for antiques. He especially enjoyed visiting flea markets and antique shows, where he took great pleasure in finding unique items. Dwight’s kindness, curiosity, and appreciation for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Dwight is survived by his loving wife, Patrice (Long) Saxton; one daughter, Ashley Saxton-Walter (Dustin); one brother, Richard Saxton, Jr; one sister, Cheryl Peterson; and one grandchild, Quinn Walter. In addition to his parents, Dwight was preceded in death by his son, Dustin Saxton.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Selinsgrove Church of the Nazarene, with Rev. Charles Melton officiating. A time for light refreshments will immediately follow the service in the church.
Burial will be private in Shreiners Cemetery.
