E. Louise (Holschuh) Jenkins

E. Louise Jenkins, 94, of Spring Mills, Centre County, formerly of Millmont and Selinsgrove, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College, wrapped in the love of her family. She was the wife and high school sweetheart of the late Emerson “Al” Jenkins Jr. Louise was born on January 29, 1931, in Pittston, Luzerne County, the daughter of the late Leon and Priscilla (Lewis) Holschuh. She was a graduate of Pittston High School and attended Misericordia College. After raising her children, she worked until retirement as a clerk for the Snyder County District Magistrate, Selinsgrove.Whether it was sharing her kitchen, watching PSU football games or playing cards, she was happiest surrounded by her family. An avid reader, she also loved traveling, cooking, sewing, gardening, and working crossword puzzles. She particularly loved eating ice cream. She is survived by her six children and their spouses, Janice Jenkins and her husband Michael Arthur, Mark and Nancy Jenkins, Scott and Kim Jenkins, Kent and Lori Jenkins, Craig and Faith Jenkins, and Noelle and Paul Taylor, 15 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law Romayne Holschuh, a brother-in-law Robert “Bob” Jenkins, and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Louise was preceded in death by a brother Glenn Holschuh and a sister Lois MacMillan. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the V. L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High Street followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Craig Munnell officiating. Burial will be in Orchard Hills Cemetery, Shamokin Dam. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in loving memory of Louise to the West End Library, 45 Ballpark Road, Laurelton, PA 17835. Arrangements by V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N.
