Frederick Pollini

Frederick William James Pollini, 88, of Shamokin Dam, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025, at home surrounded by family.

Born on July 9, 1937, in Boston, MA, he was a son to the late Frederick and Isabel (Dinon) Pollini. He was the first of his family to be born in America.

Frederick served his country honorably in the United States Air Force and United States Navy, where he was a “Seabee”, a force of skilled sailors who built and defended infrastructure for military operations.

Frederick was a skilled design draftsman for Raytheon.

In his free time, Frederick enjoyed woodworking, home improvement projects, gardening, disgruntling telemarketers, and most of all, spending time with his family.

Frederick is survived by his loving wife, Pamela (Kaskons) Pollini; two sons Frederick Pollini and Adam Pollini; two daughters, Lisa Vernava and Kat Pollini; seven grandchildren Shanna Allen, Erica Pollini, Ashley (Pollini) Reardon, Joseph Pollini, Anthony Pollini, Angelina Pollini, and Andre Pollini-Vasnetsov; nine great grandchildren Olivia Gianelis, Andrew Pollini-Mills, Madison Mills, Chase Reardon, Danica Reardon, Bailey Reardon, Joseph Pollini, Jason Pollini, & Paige Pollini; as well as his 2 brothers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his oldest grandson, SPC Matthew Pollini.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
