George Edward Jordan, 90, of Selinsgrove went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove. George was born on June 16, 1935, in Sunbury the son of the late Thomas J. and Grace (Bartholomew) Jordan.
He loved the Christmas season along with Santa and Rudolph. George was one in the million making many friends during his 90 years of life. He enjoyed entertaining his family, staff, and residents by playing his guitar and singing “You are My Sunshine”. He was known by everyone for wearing his cowboy hat and sheriff badges. George enjoyed watching old westerns movies and shows, especially Gene Autry and Roy Rogers.
He is survived by his four sisters, Sally A. Jordan, Sheila J. Arbogast, Doris E. Jordan, and Linda K. Walter and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Thomas William Jordan and three sisters Evelyn M. Cunefare, Joan A. Sarfine, and Ruth Marlene Cowan. There will be no services. George will be donated to the Humanity Gifts Registry, Philadelphia.
