Kay R. Fry

Kay R. Fry, 80, of Winfield, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Wellspan Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

Born on March 26, 1945, in Jackson Township, Snyder County, Kay was a daughter of the late Wilbert and Estella Elizabeth (Leitzel) Fry.

Kay was a graduate of Selinsgrove Area High School, class of 1964.

She spent several years working at Tara Industries in New Berlin, but mostly on the family dairy farm, where she devoted most of her time.

A lifelong lover of books, she was an avid reader who found joy in discovering new stories. She also cherished her time in the garden and caring for her flowers.

Kay is the last of her immediate family. She is survived by several cousins and her dear friends and neighbors, Norman and Susan Straub. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Joanna L. Fry.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Kratzerville beginning at 11:00 am with Rev. Ann Zimmerman officiating.
