Keith Edmond Brubaker

Keith E. Brubaker, 64, of Selinsgrove, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at home surrounded by family.

Born on May 29, 1961, in Sunbury, he was a son to the late Ralph Brubaker and surviving Nancy (Greene). On August 29, 1986, he married the former Karen Swartzlander, who survives.

Keith graduated from Selinsgrove Area High School, class of 1980, where he attended Sun Area Technical Institute.

Keith was the owner and operator of Brubaker’s Garage with his wife, serving as a mechanic for 40 years, where he not only served his community but also took pride in teaching and mentoring younger generations in the trade.

Keith enjoyed boating, snowmobile rides, and camping with his family.

In addition to his wife, Keith is survived by a son, Keith Brubaker; two grandchildren Austin and Athena; two brothers, Tim (Devin) Brubaker and Shawn (Stephanie) Brubaker; two Aunts who were like mothers to Keith, Kay (Ken) Conrad and Gay (Russell) Hockenbrock; uncle, Lester (Jane) Brubaker; brother in laws Larry Yearick, Robert Swartzlander, and Terry (Marlene) Swartzlander ; sister in laws Linda Brubaker and Penny Yearick; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Ralph; brother Todd Brubaker; and grandparents Ben and Hellen (Strawser).

In honoring Keith’s wishes, no services will be held.
