L. June Straub

L. June Straub, 100, of Selinsgrove, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at The Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove.

Born on January 25, 1925, in Hummels Wharf, June was a daughter to the late Nathaniel and Effie Bailey.

June was a graduate of Selinsgrove Area High School.

She attended St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Selinsgrove for many of years.

June shared a deep, loving bond with her late husband, Robert, with whom she enjoyed many years of travel and exploration. Together, they created a lifetime of memories.

June is survived by two daughters, Wanda Shoemaker (Gary) of Cleona and Bonnie Stimpson (David) of Florida. In addition to her parents and husband, June was preceded in death by two brothers, Marlin and Gordon, and a sister, Irene.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Shreiners Cemetery, Shreiners Road, Selinsgrove, PA 17870 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dietmar Plajer officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 400 North Market Street, Selinsgrove PA 17870.
