Linda P. Dworsky, 79, of Selinsgrove, PA, passed away peacefully on the morning of July 13, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born in Buffalo, New York, on October 17, 1945, Linda lived a life marked by warmth, wit, playful teasing, and devotion to those she loved. She built a fulfilling career at Syracuse University, where she worked for over 25 years, forming lasting friendships and touching the lives of many colleagues. Linda had a sharp mind and a joyful spirit. She found delight in the challenge of the New York Times crossword—a love she paired with her passion for golf, both playing and watching. She also enjoyed lively card games, penny slots, delicious home-cooked meals, and time spent with family around the table. She leaves behind her loving husband, William; her three children, Brian Dworsky (Jessica), Aaron Dworsky (Amanda), and Jessica Wallish (Donald); her beloved grandchildren, Cooper, Nolan, Emily, Harrison, and Joshua; her sisters, nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Her family meant everything to her, and her smile, strength, and laughter will be remembered always. A small, private celebration of Linda’s life will be held with close family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor her by doing something she would’ve loved: play a round of golf, cook a favorite meal, play a card game, or donate to the Holocaust Museum in DC, or Congregation Beth El, 249 Arch Street, Sunbury PA 17801.
