Lucy M. (Troup) Ulrich

Lucy May Ulrich, 88, of Freeburg entered rest on Wednesday morning, May 14, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was the wife of the late Richard E. Ulrich, who preceded her on April 12, 1999.

Lucy was born on August 11, 1936, in Washington Township, Snyder County, the daughter of the late Norman and Sara (Amig) Troup. She was a 1954 graduate of Selinsgrove High School and was formerly employed at the Freeburg Shirt Factory.

Lucy enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Susan and Danny Kerstetter, Tim and Heather Ulrich, Linette and Matt Varner, and Rick and Jen Ulrich, eight grandchildren, Tara (Shannon) Brockmeyer, Justin (Ashley) Kerstetter, Taylor Spriggle and her companion Ryan, Morgan (Zach) Schuerch, Kara (Mark) Sensenig, Ryan (Breann) Varner, Katie Varner, Jordan (Scott) Marquette, eight great-grandchildren, Reid, Ava, Madelyn, Everleigh, Adilynn, Kaidynn, Sage, and Ella, six sisters, LJ Hoffman, Shirley Brouse, Rita Aucker, Ruth Troup, Gail Troup, and Norma Troup, and many nieces and nephews.

Lucy was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother, Betty, Grace, Helen, and Charles “Skip”.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  at the V. L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High Street, Selinsgrove followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Vickie Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Freeburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in loving memory of Lucy to the Freeburg QRS, PO Box 29, Freeburg, PA 17827.
