Michael D. Wolfe, 73, of Sunbury, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born March 28, 1953, in Sunbury, he was a son to the late Cyril C. and Jean M. (Herold) Wolfe.
Michael graduated from Selinsgrove Area High School and furthered his education in electrical work at Williamsport Area Community College where he was valedictorian of his class.
Michael worked twenty plus years as a maintenance technician at Paulsen Wire Rope, was the owner and operator of Kelly’s Wrought Iron, and later retired as a maintenance supervisor at Dempsey Uniform and Linen Supply.
In his free time, Michael thoroughly enjoyed tending to his garden, music, and most of all, traveling with his late wife, Nancy.
Michael is survived by three sons, Michael Wolfe II (Kristin), Chad Wolfe, and Joshua Wolfe; two brothers, Lynn Wolfe and Dennis Wolfe (Coralee); two sisters, Patty Cobler and Kathy Hartman (Tom); grandchildren Marrisa Wolfe, Trey Wolfe, Tyler Wolfe, and Allyson Wolfe; and a great grandson, Sylas Sanders.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his loving wife, Nancy I. Wolfe; a brother, Terry Wolfe; a nephew, Jeffrey Burgess; a brother-in-law, Charles Cobler; and a sister-in-law, Judy Wolfe.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to Michael’s companion, Laura, for the compassionate love and care she showed towards Michael.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, Selinsgrove at 2:00 PM with Cory Fasold officiating. A viewing will be held from 1:00 PM until the start of the funeral service.
Burial will be in Witmer’s Cemetery, Port Trevorton.
