Robert L. Hornberger

Robert Lamar Hornberger, 85, of Liverpool passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at North Ridge Center Personal Care, McAlisterville. Robert was born on September 13, 1940, in Hegins, Schuylkill County, the son of the late George and Cora (Smith) Hornberger.

He was a United States Air Force veteran.

Robert retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Resources.

He was a member of the Liverpool Bible Baptist Church. Robert loved the outdoors; he enjoyed hunting and was an avid fisherman especially fly fishing. He tied his own fly’s and won many awards for trap shooting.

Robert is survived by his two daughters Amy Hornberger and Rebecca Hornberger, and a granddaughter Bianca Snyder.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the V. L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High Street Selinsgrove followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor James Mento officiating. Burial with full military honors will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
