Wayne “Little Rudy” R. Baker, Jr., 78, of Northumberland, entered into rest on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Heritage Springs Memory Care, Lewisburg. He was the husband of Bonita A. (Catherman) Baker who survives. Wayne was born on June 16, 1947, in Sunbury, the son of the late Wayne R. “Rudy” Sr., and Anna (Wilt) Baker. He was a graduate of Sunbury High School and later attended a trade school. Wayne retired as a Machinist from Tyco Electronics, Greencastle, PA. He enjoyed bowling in his younger years and woodworking. Wayne’s biggest enjoyment was his love of model trains and display. In addition to his wife Bonita of over 50 years, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Jason and Cynthia Baker of Paxinos, a daughter and son-in-law Jessica and Stephen Pursell of Shamokin Dam, five grandchildren Christian (Kierra) Baker, Katelynn Baker, Andrew Baker, Logan Pursell, and Ronan Pursell, great grandchildren, and a sister Susan Slater of New Jersey. A private graveside service will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Selinsgrove with Rev. Charles H. Melton officiating.
